Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition has sailed into The Franklin Institute showcasing over 300 artifacts conserved from the ship's debris field, offering visitors a look at this iconic ship and its passengers. Vouchers include Adult admission ONLY (ages 12 and over) for timed entry into Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition every 30 minutes and general admission to The Franklin Institute, which alone is normally $16.50 for adults.
The 15,000 square foot exhibition takes visitors on a chronological journey through the life of Titanic, from the building of the legend to life on board. The exhibition has been designed with a focus on the compelling human stories as best told through authentic artifacts and extensive room re-creations. From china etched with the logo of the elite White Star Line, to perfume from a maker who was traveling to New York to sell his samples, the many authentic objects offer haunting and emotional connections to lives abruptly ended or forever altered.
With close to one million visitors each year, The Franklin Institute is a national leader in fun, hands-on science learning for all ages. The interactive museum is home to three floors of exhibits, a 4D flight simulator, live daily demonstrations, three theaters including Philadelphia’s largest IMAX screen, and much more. Throughout the year, the Institute also hosts world-class traveling exhibitions that offer once-in-a-lifetime educational and cultural experiences.
